By accessing or using the website operated by Century Moving Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), located at https://centurymovingservices.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the website or use our services.
Moving Services
Quotes and Estimates
Moving quotes provided through our website or by phone are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may vary based on actual inventory, distance, access conditions, and additional services requested on the day of the move. All quotes are subject to a physical or virtual survey for accuracy.
Booking and Scheduling
A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. Moving dates and times are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and signed agreement. We reserve the right to reschedule moves due to severe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled move date may receive a full refund of the deposit
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the move date may be subject to a cancellation fee
- No-shows on the scheduled move date will forfeit the full deposit
Customer Responsibilities
As the customer, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about the items to be moved
- Ensuring clear access to both the origin and destination locations
- Securing or disclosing any hazardous, perishable, or prohibited items
- Being present or having an authorized representative at both locations
- Disconnecting appliances and electronics prior to the move

Century Moving Services is a licensed and insured moving company. Our credentials include:

Valuation Coverage
We offer two levels of valuation coverage as required by federal regulations:
- Released Value Protection: Basic coverage at no additional charge, providing liability of $0.60 per pound per article
- Full Value Protection: Comprehensive coverage available for an additional fee, where the mover is liable for the replacement value of lost or damaged items
Details of coverage options will be provided in your moving agreement prior to the move.
Claims
Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 9 months of the delivery date. We will process claims in accordance with federal moving regulations and respond within 30 days of receipt.
Items We Cannot Move
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:
- Hazardous materials (explosives, flammable liquids, chemicals)
- Perishable food items
- Live plants or animals
- Firearms and ammunition
- Irreplaceable personal documents (we recommend transporting these yourself)
